Who we are

Christina’s Cleaners was founded by Christina, who came to Oxford from Ukraine and rebuilt her life here. That story shapes how we work: many of our team are rebuilding their careers in the UK, and the company exists to offer fair, well-paid, respectful work — not just the legal minimum.

We’re accredited by the Living Wage Foundation — an external, verified commitment that everyone here earns the real living wage. If you’re starting again in the UK, we’d especially like to hear from you.

Do I have to find my own clients?+
No. Clients book with Christina’s Cleaners; we offer you the jobs that match your availability and area.
Where exactly is the work?+
Oxford, Reading and the areas around them. You pick the exact parts you can reach when you apply.
Can I choose my days?+
Yes. You tell us your availability and we only offer jobs that fit it. Once you’re set up, you manage availability in your own portal.
Do I need experience?+
It helps, but it isn’t the gate. Reliability, punctuality and care matter more — we provide the training and the checklists.
How much English do I need?+
Enough to follow job details and stay in touch with the office. You don’t need perfect English to do excellent work.
What about tax and self-employment?+
You work with us as self-employed. If you’re not registered yet, we’ll help you set it up, and the accountant we work with can support you with tax questions.
What products will I use?+
We provide them: plant-based, non-toxic products — safe for families, pets and the people doing the cleaning.
How is pay set?+
